Although it is well known across the lands of Tibia that the Royal Tibian Mail service is always recruiting more people for the impressive job of postman, Teh Rah has posted a proposal for even more mailboxes in the world. The idea is to prevent lootbag theft and players having to drag their lootbags across half the world, or so it may seem, to find a mailbox nearby more difficult spawns. Although there is already a shortage in mailmen and it would not be clear who would place those mailboxes, or even empty them daily, it may be a good idea to add some mailboxes to certain areas. Not every player seems to agree and it would certainly require a thorough investigation as to the purpose of mailboxes to determine what would be best in this case. Players can voice their opinion on the subject in the thread on the proposals board, here.
