Within the world of Tibia there are many things to do, hunting and going on quests are among the most popular activities these days. So let's for a change be different! How about relaxing and kicking back a chair. Just 'sit' down in a cosy chair for once and have a nible.

The Afternoon Tea, the concept.

It has been a tradition among the respected citizens of Greenshore to have a tea every now and again, most often in the late afternoon or early moments of the evening. Now you may wonder, what is a tea? To directly answer your question; this can be a light snack or a feast-like multiple course happening. The main idea behind a tea is to get together with friends and friends of your friends and have a jolly time! Drink tea or nibble on a carrot and cheese sandwhich!

The Preparations.

A few things will be needed:

- a place to get together at
- a couple of chairs and tables
- and not to forget.. Food!!

a) a place to get together

Almost anything will do, for example on a sunny saturday afternoon you can gather at a field, do note that Billy is not very happy with unexpected visitors on his field. Or if it rains you can get together in a tavern, house or guildhall, and if you lack place you could always decide to host your party in the sewers! Do not forget you can get wet, if it rains or someone.. ehhhrr well.. you get the point.



b) a couple of chairs and tables

Within Tibia there is a wide arrangement of different chairs, each used in a different situation! The most common most probably is: 

The Wooden Chair 

This chair is often used, when either time or money lacks the scene. Or maybe take this one if you host your party at a bar, because when people get drunk you do not want them to smash your grandmothers favourite cushioned sofa!

The Sofa Chair  

Using this type of chair really shows your sense of style and luxury, when you sit down on one of these you will comfortably sink down into it's cushion, providing the cozyness needed for an afternoon chit chat.

The Small Trunk 

Over time this object has become quite popular, due to it's looks and easiness to be made. Just take an axe and chop down a tree! If you ever are uncertain about how many people will join you at your part take an axe with you to make some extra chairs in case you run out of normal ones!

c) the food

This is probably the most important of all things you need to have when you host an afternoon tea. There are certain possibilities; first you need to decide whether you will go with the sandwhiches or the sweets, when you make sandwiches there is a wide variety of situations to choose from:

• Fish
• Meat
• Vegetables
• Fruits
• Combinations

If you doubt go with sweets, who wouldn't want to nible a cookie or who wouldn't want to feel the soft taste of a candy cane on his toung. The impression that is left by someone thats gives candy canes, sweets and chocolate bars to his friends is every lasting.

Yet maybe just as important is the drink served with your party, you don't want people to get drunk before they had the meal, in that case they wont taste you delicate selection of the earlier mentioned types of afternoon delights. People often go with juices or coconut milk for starters, these drinks have soft tastes and therefore mix well with the other types of food. Yet as soon as the largest amount of food is gone, it's advisable to switch to a good, full mug of rum, or wine for the well-mannered.

d) the invitations

Often people just invite who they like, but don't forget to think that the group that is invited to a party needs to be a group of friends or at least non-enemies. It's not wanted that halfway your party friends of you draw swords and that they start killing the other guests. Make sure you select the right people.
