Building on the successful testing of their flash client, CipSoft releases a new widget, "ActiveBuddy."
Tibia users looking for someone to talk to with no one on their VIP list will finally be able to get all the answers from this new widget which enables an automatic response from a "chatterbot" to make people feel important and wanted, no matter if their VIP list is empty, or just if no one in their guild is online. No matter if they want to talk about the newest update of Tibia, how they just said "exevo pan" for the ten thousandth time, or just brag about how they mounted a midnight panther, the new widget which will always be displayed without a "disable" function will surely boost the confidence of any average Tibian player.
"The ActiveBuddy widget will be available for free to all players," stated Craban, one of CipSoft's current product managers. "The chatterbot, ActiveBuddy, is programmed especially by CipSoft members to carry on lengthy conversations, and knowledgeable about multiple areas and quests throughout the Tibian continent," Craban added.
Speaking from personal experience, Skyrr, also a product manager at CipSoft, also gave our TibiaScoop reporter his intake on the widget. "Unlike your boyfriend or girlfriend, or even your coworkers or classmates, the widget will not get tired of discussing or answering even the most ridiculous comments about Tibia; the widget is here and it will be ready to listen, and even reply!"
The ActiveBuddy widget seemed to already be a big hit in the CipSoft office in their internal test server phase, allowing the employees themselves go on rants for more than three hours in length.
"I cannot believe I still have not mounted that damn midnight panther!" stated frustrated CipSoft employee, Dens Larika, to his ActiveBuddy widget. "How many more times do we have to tweak this spawn to make me finally get one!?"
The ActiveBuddy widget, which will be released on the second phase of the flash client beta test, has already seen even the founders of Tibia using it, primarily for bragging rights. "You think you can control me, ActiveBuddy?" stated Steve, going on to gloat that he was the one that "created" the chatterbot.
"I think the thing that our customers will be happy about is that this chatterbot not only responds back in English, but up to 74 different languages! Including Portuguese, Spanish, Polish, Swedish, Dutch, and so much more! They finally have someone that they can relate to - someone that will always listen and give the exact reply that they want back," CM Rejana stated in a comment to TibiaScoop. "A lot more widgets are to come to the flash client, the ActiveBuddy is just the first step," she added, concluding that "Tibia's 15th anniversary is right around the corner, so you can imagine what kind of widgets we have in store for you already!"
