Winter 2009 Week of Holiday Madness!

After non stop editing the story i have written i have come to a word count of 1035, less will simply not make the same story. will this amount be permitted? I will try to revise and rework all the details for a few more days, to make sure no further improvements can be made, however I expect I will remain slightly exceeding the 1000 words border.

The limitation was a guideline to try and keep people from submitting either just a sentence or a full novel ... 35 words won't disqualify you

Also, I'm curious about the image size restriction. (the 400 x 500 pixel thing) Are we allowed to exceed it? Because some bigger images have been submitted and got a reply that they've been received.

Do multiple submissions from 1 character count as 2 submissions towards the golden newspaper? (I submitted a picture and a story) If so, then I think we got 19 submissions so far. Which means we got 1 to go

Well, Cantinelle clearly states it should be more than 20 submissions and not more than 20 entrants for a lottery of the golden newspaper so I guess this means we've exceeded the magic 20

It was a nice idea of whoever had it (luls) to advertise around a bit on game-chats, I thought the contest had ended 2 weeks ago when I had absolutely no time to contribute with anything. How good that the deadline got expanded!
