people accumulate gold to better themselves, while the economy suffers. the economy laws doesnt fully work in tibia since its very limited model in there and due to now unlimited supply of gold. I can also see people saving gold to wait till prices deflate. There is nothing wrong in "im saiving up for MPA". there is wrong with "i have enough money to buy 100 MPA and i dont know where to spend it"
Yes, a large number of players left. there are now more players on OTs than in real tibia. botters make the majority of tibian players, and thus the majority of income. its bad for business to ban too many of them, while its good to pretend they do (see how they advertise it). People wont come back to tibia. sure its nostalgic game that you used to play, but lately there have been way too many good games that beat it. We must admit that tibia is dieing. its like a dinosaur of gaming. big slow game that has such a primitive system that even when its shot in the heart it still lumper on for years (real dinosaurs were believed to be able to walk and chase thier prey for hours even if they heart got stabbed, because nerves in the brains didnt register "ops were dead" fast enough and muscles still moved)
