Heavenly sword- critisised for being too short but it's a solid hack and slash game

In 2007 that would have been a valid argument. Sereously the xbox 360 isn't as spectacular as it's hyped up to be, right now it's better than the ps3 i'll give it that but by the end of the year it wont be.

Gears of war- also on pc
Gears of war 2- will be on pc and has broken multiplayer
Halo 3- will be on pc and is basically same as halo 2 but still fun
Fable 2- will be on pc
Mass effect- also on pc
Left 4 dead- also on pc
Banjo Kazooie nuts and bolts- everyone wanted a platformer and they make a vehicle builder..

Only system sellers for me are Lost odyssey, Mass effect(very buggy), fable 2(aparently dissapointing) and Halo 3. If you have a decent pc there is no point in owning an Xbox 360. and of course there is the legendary red ring of death, the falcon chip still breaks alot.

Just kidding, but I would still want to buy a 360 rather than a ps3, mainly because I feel that the games the 360 offers me are a lot more fun and that I could play them on xbox live. Because let's face it, xbox live is awesome, no matter the price. If I want a large variety of games, my PC will always be here for me. But... i'm not that kinda guy who gets lots of games and play them all, I stick to 2-3 games and rarely try new stuff. But I would rather buy a new fast computer and buy a large variety of games the PC instead. They would have the best grafics, the best game play, the best story line and they would be online for free. Then I can play all these games, with a flexible mouse, access the internet, play MMORPGS and do much more. Not to mention that your desktop is much more flexible and you can change it however you want.

Xbox live is better than PSN but it's not a huge difference. With xbox live you can have private chatrooms with your friends(something like that) but with the ps3 you can't yet. Avatars are better than Home characters. Achievements were there from the beginning but trophys for PSN wasn't. Those are the only advantages I can think of.

It has netflix which streams movies but PSN lets you actually download your movies and even put it on your psp if you have one.

User made themes are much better than the themes you get from microsoft, I cannot believe they actually charge you for wallpapers. I know it's like 10 cents but c'mon, charging for wallpapers!?!?!

Taking everything into consieration the Xbox 360 is the better console right now, but at the end of this year they will be on equal grounds. Just don't say it doesn't have games because as I have shown that is a load of baloney especially considering the Xbox had a years head start and has the advantage of having microsofts unlimited funds.

The Ps3 is already beating the xbox sales wise in Japan and Europe even with it's big price tag, once the price cut comes in I see it overtaking the 360 and then Microsoft will unleash the Xbox 3 leaving all 360 owners feeling abandoned like original xbox owners felt when they killed the Xbox(I know how I felt)

to be honest, the ps3 thrives on exclusive games because most of its features are VERY unnessicary. i mean what do u honestly want? a computer, or a game console? the ps3 is a computer really. i already have a computer so i dont need a ps3. and most of the exclusive games are mediocre. id say the games that are really worth getting are motorstorm, little big planet, and killzone 2 when it comes out. people boast that resistance 2 and mgs4 are amazing but resistance 2 gets boring really fast and mgs4 is goofy as hell in campaign (its japanese...) and the multiplayer isnt amazing. but the stealthy sneaky abilities are great and thats pretty much what sells it so no problem there.

i think the future games that will be good for the ps3 are uncharted 2 and ratchet and clank. and MAYBE massive action game but its too soon to tell and it will prolly be really laggy and theyll end up lowering the player count i think.

my main point tho is that the 360 only needs a couple of exclusive games and doesnt need to be free (if u cant afford 5$ a month or are too cheap to pay for it, then u shouldnt be buying an expensive ps3 in the first place. that argument doesnt make any sense when a ps3 owner brings it up) because the 360 is just more fun to play. xbox live is absolute perfection and if i owned both consoles, i would buy all the non-exclusive games for the 360.

also, the controller is easier to use. i dont know what u mean about the d-pad because its fine. but the ps3 buttons, bumpers, and joysticks are stiffer and harder to use. (get triggers plx )

Whether you think the exclusives are mediocre is subjective, 360 exlusives vs ps3 exclusives and which is better is down to personal taste.

Resistance 2, well thats down to your opinion but the same can be said about any FPS, their all fairly similar. But the xbox 360 can only dream of 7 player co-op and 60 players online.

Metal gear solid 4, well I respect your stupid opinion. But plenty of people love the series and there is no doubt the game is incredible or it wouldn't have gotten all those 10's. If you think that the fact that it's a wacky japanese game is a bad thing then it's your opinion, the wackiness of part of what I love about it, I don't want another generic SCI-FI western game. It also has the best graphics in a console game ever and the online isn't perfect but it is good, it's not your typical run and gun shooter that floods the market today. Plus the game runs FLAWLESSLY, I can count the ammount of times I've seen a noticable frame rate hitch(0), texture loading problems(0) and a draw distance problem(1 area) on one hand. I'm not exageratting either.

For me Halo 3, Gears of war 1 and 2, Left 4 dead, Ninja Gaiden, Dead Rising and Crackdown aren't system sellers. For me atleast. Mass Effect Is a system seller for me but it runs like crap and is buggy as hell, I was a fable lover but aparently all the problems for fable 2 are the same problems I had with the first one, it's waaaay too short and the ending is weak. So I'm not that interested anymore.

Theres lost odyssey which noone seems to love but I would love to play that game, I don't care if it doesn't push the JRPG genre.

I'm more interested in Uncharted than gears of war, I'm sick of all the damn Sci-Fi western games these days. sure Stars wars is cool but sometimes you want Indiana jones. The theme in uncharted is really great and the story is pretty good aswell.

I would rather have Halo 3 than resistance 1 and 2 but I'm not a huge fan of any of these Sci-Fi first person shooters anyway. I loved Halo combat evolved but Halo 2 was a huge dissapointment for me. Not a fan of online multiplayer, I played COD4 online like 5 times.

Back in the day when Oblivion, Eternal Sonata and Bioshock were still 360 exclusives it was clear the xbox was better but now it's down to personal taste. Plus most of the "xbox 360 exclusives" are on PC or will end up on PC eventually.

And have you tried playing fighting games like Virtua fighter with the xbox 360 D-pad? it hardly works at all. Oh and the Ps3 controller does have Triggers, the PS2 didn't.



Plus if you really love the xbox 360 controller you can just buy this adaptor to use it on your ps3

I've played it, it's lots of fun but it's nothing amazing. objects and even some zombies pop up a few steps in front of you which is ridiculous, the graphics(360 version atleast) are hideous. Gameplay is very simple but it gets the job done, since there isn't much depth it will get old like all online multiplayer games and there isn't really a story. It's rated highly because it's valve, but it is a fun game.

I guess the biggest system seller on the 360 for me is lost odyssey and jade empire 2 and knights of the old republic 2 if it ever comes out. But they will probably be multi platform since EA bought bioware. I really love knights of the old republic, but that stupid mmorpg looks lame.

I gave up on X-Box after I tried playing FPS with it, which is impossible.. not that it's any better with PS. My problem is that they're focusing too much on those FPS' that isn't meant for consoles.. heck it's IMPOSSIBLE to aim without a MOUSE. Controlling a crosshair with a D-pad? Come ON! Consoles work well for Fighting games though, Driving games and RPGs that does not involve crosshairs or fake pointers. So basically, I use my X-Box for.. no wait, I don't anymore - used it for DoA3 - yes, Kasumi rocks - and KOTOR (ony the first, 'cause the sequel is almost like playing KOTOR 1 again for me) .. did enjoy Midtown Madness, tried to enjoy Unreal Championship (epic fail, yes I managed to get through it after 5h of frustration..). Can't really recall any of the other games I have that I regret I bought at the moment.

As a Final Fantasy fan, I've been forced to keep up with PlayStation, and I even had to borrow a friend's Gamecube - wtf @ crap controller - to try Crystal Chronicles (or smth like that). So yeah, I got PS2 and that's the console I mainly use when I don't use my PC - which can play about anything, and controls is never an issue.. man look at all these keeeeeys and this mouse :> ..

What kills PS3 for me, this far, though.. is the sky-high price-tag .. it's just not worth it, it never will be worth what it costs now. Though the moment I need a blu-ray player, I buy a PS3.
