Why the ps3 is the best (Warning: lots of images)

I just got Siren blood curse, this is one great game. The controls take some getting use to but thats the case for every survival horror. It's made by some of the people who made silent hill 1. It is one creepy game, the atmosphere is intense.

Japanese games badly written? Lol most western made games have no imagination, it's always a sci-fi game with lots of guns and shooting and a really simple storyline, they really aren't known for their storylines. The only ones who can make some good written storylines are bioware and some old adventure games like broken sword.

And even then the storylines can't compare with some of the stuff of final fantasy. Games like Oblivion and Fallout 3 for example have really bad storylines, but the game itself is awsome.

And no the xbox live doesn't stomp the ps3 in online play, theres hardly any difference at all except on xbox live you get plenty of 12 year old racist americans screaming at you. Halo 3 is the best online game this gen but thats because of the way the game was designed, not xbox live.

Agreed, Japanese storylines are among the best you get. I can't boast I've played through Oblivion, but that has somewhat something to do with the fact the start is deja'vu back to Morrowind, you're a darn prisoner- you probably are in all TES games, but anyway.. find a new start Bethesda!

As to best online game, UT3 SHOULD have been- wtHECK doesn't people play it, and why doesn't mine work online >_> .. anyway, I can't let down my current obsession DotA on online games stage. :>

name a japanese game that didnt at some point involve ninjas, a kung-fu fight, giant mechs, or oversized swords. i honestly think there arent any unless u can name a japanese flight game or strategy game or something where itd be even stupider to have any of those things in the game.

Are you saying that a storyline is bad if it has any of those elements? FFXII doesn't have any obvious ninjas as far as I remember, no kung-fu, no giant mechs and I don't think there's oversized swords there either (been a while since I played it now) .. but there is one oversized last boss who looks like something taken out of a manga. I don't keep track on where my games are from anyway, but I think there's a lot of games that goes outside your stereotype. And I like ninjas and oversized swords anyway.

Sounds to me that you like boring games. If all you want is super realism then just play Tom Clancy games zZzZzZz....... Have some imagination, not everything has to be super realistic. Over sized bosses, Giant mechs and big weapons are fun. Plenty of western games also have them, Fear 2 and Killzone 2 have big mechs,. Big weapons are fun, if you want real life weapons just stick to Rainbow six and call of duty.. Over sized bosses are the best thing ever, lots of games have them, Gears of war 2, God of war, etc.

I like some realistic games too(Shenmue, call of duty) but I also want imaginative worlds.

I think Ja Nie's statement was more referring to Mario Kart which is the indisputable king of all fun-racing-games. It's just the unbeaten original.

And no, Sonic doesn't beat Mario at all.. at NO game.
