New Shorts Idea

So I'm running Eye of Xandalos right now, but I'm already trying to think of a next topic to write about. I wanted to pick your brains and see if I could come up with anything.

My idea right now is a series about a dwarven expedition that delves too deep and penetrates the cave of an ancient menace. There's a bit more to it that I won't spoil in case I run with that plot, but if anyone has any good Tibian myths they could direct me towards that would be great.

hum sounds a lot of lord of the ring scenario where ancient demon is awaken in the mines. though could be good since we only see the aftershow of it in the book/movie and you seem to do the actual thing.

Yeah, the balrog. In the Silmarillion by Tolkien he goes over some great material about a group of balrogs all fighting together, it's intense. But honestly a number of my ideas are just things I'd like to see for the game itself in order to create an overarching plot.

intresting. havent read any other Tolkien work beside the LOTR, though i agree that Tolkien was a genius in fantasy genre.

It actually sheds a lot of light on the LotR trilogy and is pretty interesting stuff.

The Knightmare Knights are still pretty mysterious, aren't they? You could make a story about them. Or about the dwarven guilds (can't remember much about them, but there's signs in Kaz if I recall it correctly).
