Well, there's nothing really wrong about what he said in my opinion, unless I'm missing the reason you're quoting it for. :p I agree with him, in many cases at least, the worst fights are the one you never sort out because then the feelings grow and the two sides only have growing hate/anger/contempt/whatever for each other since they never actually got to common ground or dealt with the issue or what-not.
