RE: Regarding current interview

I thought there was a 'report typing mistakes' board, I can't find it so here goes.

I have noticed that the grade of editing hasn't been very good lately. No offense to the editor but surely tibianews holds the entire interview for discussion before placing it on the website. This has happened quite a few times now, so I will point it out in hope quality control gets the message.

Here I go:
1. "Issalia: I was looking on a website for a free online game and had a preference for something with a rpg style about it. When I found it and installed it I createdmy first account and then immediately told my housemate who also started playing and still does hehe"

2. "Issalia: GM Syikan appointed me as his counsellor a number of years ago. He retired and GM Flattery took me on as one of his counsellors. It was around thattime that discussions of the tutor system were being held on the internal counsellor forum. The tutor system was implemented and a few months later we counsellors were told that our position was finally being phased out. It was at this time Iwas asked if I wanted to apply to be a GM and that I was the only counsellor approached, the rest were tutors. I wanted to hold the flag for the counsellors and applied. I was appointed the same time as Borr, Wilfred, Erig etc."

4."Issalia: eeeeek! lol One of the biggest problems is obviously those that cheat. So many don't realise how good it can feel to level your own character, reaching those milestones on your own without another person or some toolhelping you.
Sadly we gamemasters have set guidelines on what we can and can't do. We often get blamed for the cheaters not getting banished and part of it can be attributed to the fact there are so few of us for so many worlds."

That's all the problems I can see now.

Also could you by any chance check my shortnews that was skipped on the journalist forum. Thanks!

Thanks Wiz, don't know if it'll be fixed though because it was said by the person we were interviewing. Only reason it doesn't have spelling mistakes in the questions from TN is that I editted it before it got submitted, and I'm pretty sure Kharz edditted it before it went on the interview board. But thanks anyway.

I would of thought that the interviewee should really be edited as well. I understand where you are coming from with not editing the interviewee for getting their 'feel'. But would it be so hard to just put a space in between the words where they should be?

I've corrected the mistakes to pointed out. Sadly, I can only correct the text on the forums, not the one on the interview section of tibianews.

edit: as pointed out, this belongs in wrong info board. Let's move it

That's entirely my fault, I seldom check for spelling errors anymore with Firefox's spell checker, and they weren't underlined in red so I didn't notice. It's been corrected now, thanks!
