Guide to Leveling (PACC)

Postby Dylor Flame » Fri Apr 22, 2011 4:54 pm

I will list levels and creatures for all vocations. Ive played all but a druid so I think I got some pretty good knowledge for everyone to utilize. For anyone needing cash or levels, or if you are a new player in the game this guide will definately help you out for you.

Training: I will start off by saying that training is really important for everyone and should be done occasionally to increase the dmg that you do to creatures. Skills start off increasing fast but as they gain levels the skills will start increasing slower and slower. Patience is key.

Training Tips:
Mages: I grouped mages together because the training for both of them will be the same. The best way to train mages when starting the game is to just keep your mana bar from being full. If you are premium then haste would be preferred as you can hunt faster. Upon reaching lv 35 (you should have your promotion) I would suggest hunting larva caves in the ankrahmun desert using the wand of dragonbreath or moonlight rod. Using these weapons will allow you to gain mana because you will be gaining more mana than these weapons can use at a time. this extra mana can be used to make runes while you hunt. Also Larvas drop meat and gold so you can make extra cash, eat and have loads of free mana, gain some experience and make lots of runes which you can use later on. I reccoment Avalanche runes for Druids and GFB for sorcerers. I would train here until larvas no longer provided soul just because its a great place to do so and you will benefit from it a lot later on.
Paladins: I recomend starting in trolls until you are killing them in 3 hits or less on def fighting. At that point take all the spears you can handle and go to edron goblins. You can gather a lot of small stones there and store them in a lootbag if they get to heavy but ultimately you will eventally switch from spears to small stones and continue killing goblins. They drop some food so I suggest using the haste spell if your hp is full but dont completely use all your mana. Just use enough to keep the bar from being full. At lower levels you may need to heal on occasion or if things get bad you may need to heal a lot and you will want some mana for that. It would also be a good idea to bring some health potions. I always carried 10-20 health potions just for emergencies. This is a great spot to train at any level and I would suggest coming back here to train often.
Knight: For knights get the weakest weapon you can still do dmg with and hunt things that you can easily block. Start at trolls then orcs then minos, and eventually slimes. The weakest weapon you can get for each class of weapon is recomended as it allows you to keep the creature alive longer which helps with training.

hunting
I will start off at lv 8 because getting thru rookgaard is explained at tutorial island and should be easily done. Its where you learn the basics. So by this time I hoe you have learned the basics.

Lv 8 - Lv 10 (all vocations)
EQ - Rook Set, Wand/Rod for mages
Train. Simple and easy. Just train on trolls until lv 10. Mages should just hunt them with wand while eating food and constantly using light spell. This will boost your mlvl. Pally use spears or small stones in full def and knights should use full def with a weak axe.

Lv 10 - Lv 15 (all vocations)
Plate Set, Dwarven Shield, Steel Helm (I would keep this eq unless you are able to upgrade via quest item.)
Hunt Darashia Rotworms. If you trained then these should be rather easy. Collect all the sellable loot and sell it. Mages should always be casting spells and eating. At this point health potions are not needed and all vocations should just use manas and the light healing spell.

Lv 15 - Lv 20 (all vocations)
If you are doing good in rotworms then stay there, if it gets crowded try hunting Tombs -1 floor. I reccomend the following skills before reaching Lv. 20. Knight 60+/50+. Paladin 65+/45+. Mage 30+/20+. Knights and Paladins can obtain skills like this easily by training with weak weapons such as sickles and small stones. Knights can train on minos and I suggest goblins for paladins. Minos will give knights extra gold which they will need later and goblins drop lots of small stones so paladins should rarely run out. Take about 3 spears with you in case you run out of stones cause they will last a while and you can replenish your stones. I suggest 3 cause they take up a lot of cap. Take more if desired. Stay in full def and eat so you can always be using spells.

Lv 20 - Lv 30 (Get Promo)
-Mage using wand of dragon breath and same eq as before
-Knight with appropriate weapon and same eq as before
I recomend Larvas. Lots of food and plenty of gold. You will get about 18k-22k exp/hr in the large Ank Desert cave.
-Paladin use Royal Spears when you can
- If you have decent distance skill you could definately handle Cyclopolis. Its perfect for pallies. Or you could also go larvas and if you can handle it you may even be able to go scarabs with little waste.
Mages using WODB and eating should see little mana consumption because the rate you regen mana is about the same as the wand uses it. Cast your speed spells when you have full mana to hunt faster and heal as needed.

Lv 30 - Lv 45
-Knights - I reccomend tombs and BBI (for level), or Dworcs (only for cash though).
-Mages - I reccomend Ank Tarpit Tomb Lower Level. Bring firebomb runes and hunt there. The fire fields will keep most creatures away from you. I would switch to wand of starstorm as soon as level permits. The vampires are easy to kill and the firebomb will deter them temporarily if you have to run and heal. Summon a monk if needed as they heal often enough and will absorb some dmg and act as decoys for needed get a ways.
-Pallies - I stayed at Cyclopolis until lv 60. I just was able to hunt more of the caves as I got levels so the exp/hr went higher. So thats what I recomend for you. You can use the longs passages and the stairs to run and keep distance between you and the creatures.

Lv 45 - Lv 80
-Knights - Dragons aren't too bad at this level but its good to bring a druid. If you saved up enough cash like I did (almost 300k) you can waste like 3 pots every dragg and do an ok hunt. Can get 30k+ easy at draggs. Lower tombs isnt bad either, bring runes for stalkers or exori. Also you can go to Cylopolis for some decent exp. Bring a dwarven ring.
-Mages - Go and hunt draggs. If you have been training and making runes you can sell them and buy loads of icicles. If your a druid you should have been making icicles. Go and hunt like crazy, you should do fairly well and level fast. If you are lucky enough to get Darashia Draggs free then you are lucky (I hunted there when it first came out and was free alot). Save up until you can get the magma set which will be needed later. Other places to hunt would be edron dragons, ank dragons, and yalahar dragons. Avoid Dragon Lords though as they are not worth your time at this moment.
-Paladins - If you wanted a change you can hunt dragons and make decent exp and profit. Use RS though. A lot of the caves offer a lot of running room so you should be able to hunt them with little issues.

Level 80+
-Knight - can now pwn draggs fairly easy, I reccomend team hunting tho for really good exp. But solo hunts will still produce a profit at this level.
-Pally - You can now try hunting with good skills and runes and some luck. PoI DL's is a fav spot of mine and ive seen pallies do it before. Or you can wait till lv 100 if you feel more comfortable. Bring potions and know the rope spots and your fast way out. That place can be hectic and anyone can get caught in a bad situation if they arent thinking clearly. Avoid running to far back when you have to run because you can get caught in back spawn. thats when the creatures you killed earlier have spawned. This is how a lot of people die there. they run from a few DL's and into more so 3 DL's just became 6 or 7.
-Mages - Hunt Dara Dl's until lv 120. You can also have some fun and hunt hydras, ancient scarabs and a lot of things. But DL's have given me the best exp. If you have a blocker you can e-wave hydras for good exp while the blocker has 3+ on him.

EXTREME HUNTING: LVL 120+
-Knight: Go and hunt PoI Dl's killing as fast as possible with a Druid sioing you. Use your spells and exori gran. the cash you have saved this far will pay off as you will waste. Having a mage there will help cause they can use their GMP on you.
-Pally: PoI DL's OR Behemoths with wall runes and stars.
-Mages: You can hunt PoI DL's pretty good with magma set. substitute the Dragon Robe for the Magma Coat and wear dragon necklaces. It helps a lot. Bring about 200 GMP and all the avas you can carry. Get 3-4 DL's and use avas on them. With a mlvl around 70ish you should be hitting about 200+ on average. If you can get some knights to run loot packs then you will be profiting. Just have them loot absolutely everything sellable. Brining an ob knife will benefit as well. Just run through killing everything and when you pass back thru and kill again skin the creatures. This way you arent waiting around. Also you can get a lot of fire walls and go to Grims. Run around fire walls and kill them. I soloed 4 this way and it would have been a beautiful video..I saved a knight and druid and killed 4 grims and it was soo beautiful..at lv 120-125... If you have a decent blocker though bring them. Im crazy so my hunting is really dangerous. But then again this is why this is my extreme hunting section :)

Thanks for reading and if you have any suggestions let me know. I left out Zao and Yalahar just because you need to quest to get there.

Respectfully,
Dylor~

Hey Dylor I got some suggestions for you. This guide is good but I think you shoul be more specific in everyone vocations and give more details about how do it you know.
'Cuz after all guides are more for the newcomers in Tibia. Experienced player usually know what to do. Anyways, don't you think that having melee 40+ for a mage is a bit useless when you can use rod/wand? I mean it's mana waste but automatically you ML goes up too, so it's totally worth it.
Also since this is a PACC guide you shouldn't let Zao and Yalahar out, I mean those are great places for every vocation. Also uncommon places like Mistrock (cyc island) and Inukaya (chakoyas) are great too. At least in my server (Julera) you barely find people there and meanwhile everyone is busy trying to get a considered "good spawn" you're quick leveling in a considered "bad spawn" like Inukaya, getting loads of money for future eqs and ofc exp.

It's just an idea you know, so it's not too limited, being a PACC guide that is. Can't forget about scarabs and tortoises for knights, AS for mages and cults in Deep Goroma (need quest) for paladins are extremely good too. Advise: Composite hornbows (w/ onyx arrows) or enchanted spear, 'cuz enlighteneds keep 4 sqm away.

Well the 40/20 for mage was magic level and defence... and i tried to prevent putting in areas that you needed quests to enter.

Also most pallies can do good with just royal spears... at least until they decide to make enchanted ones. Which you can loot alot from DL's. When I hunted them with my pally i never really ran out and if i did it was rare.

Also alot of spots that give good exp can be ran from most chars do to the distance atks and walls. Grim reapers can be ran by a mage easily at lv 120 IF they use fire walls and avoid the beams but thats mostly up to luck. I didnt mention them because of the high chance of death. AS's are ok but at higher levels they are not enough and at lower levels its easy to be swarmed if unlucky and the loot and exp just isnt that good. Goroma can be good but needs a long quest which is why i didnt add it.

Also Zao and yalahar need quest and can take time to open which is why i didnt advise those places. If you have them then yeah you open the door to more hunting possibilities. Depends on what you are into i guess.

Appreciate the info though.

Thanks,
Dylor~

ML 40 is still tough to reach before level 20, i would require far more mana sitting than hunting and at that level you can't even make any useful runes

Ill change it to 30. Its good to keep your mlvl above your level which is pretty easy until about level 50. Then it starts to fall behind. A useful tip is to use spells often and avoid using runes. Runes are good but better used later on.

Appreciate the points made.
