Wrong with graphic

Hi

something is wrong with my tibia client, and im not sure what to do.
as you can see in the picture, the graphic aint so good as it should be.
same when i logg inn, and the vip bar and chat bar and all that is same.

try turning light effects on, try changing graphic engine.

That's the graphic engine..
Do you have any graphic card installed? Up to date?
Case yes, change the graphic engine, to do so right-click on your Tibia icon and select Properties. In the tab Shortcut, look for the line Target. Leave everything in this line as it is. Only at the end of the line leave a space, then add engine, leave another space and add 0 for DirectX 5.0, or 1 for OpenGL, or 2 for DirectX 9.0.

you can change the graphic engine in ingame options too now, so no need for shortcut stuff anymore.
i found it that in tibia, openGL works best (well personally i found opengl works best on many cases related to drawing many objects). Tibia programmer once said on a topic about tibia crashing on new nvidia cards that tibia is still mainly directx 4 based and thats why it crash with new cards, who think that directx is obsolete. Cip wont let them reprogram it on directx 9 because its "Waste of time" so there we are.

Indeed... In case you decide to change it in game, click on Options -> Graphics -> Advanced and above Select graphic engine: select the engine that works better for you.

You have your graphical settings too high. I had this same problem. Go to the Settings for your GPU and turn down the graphics. Usually low-to-medium settings will be reasonable. Just turn them back up when you want to play any other sort of game.

For the record, when I had this problem, the graphic engine made no difference.
