first of all, 99% of pinging claims in tibia are false. mostly its your own internet connection. This is because of the myth that anyone can see your ip, which is incorrect.
secondly, pinging has been punishable by law in most countries for a while now. companies have been protected by law in this case, though i am unaware of any physical person case for pinging. If he has good proof then he could win it. there is first time for everything.
