Elusive Mounts

Has anyone heard any confirmations of people with any of the three mounts that are so hard to find apparently? The crustacea gigantica, midnight panther, and undead cavebear have plenty of rumors surrounding them. I just wanted to consolidate some of them here and focus efforts.

Crustacea Gigantica:
The likely areas are the Frozen Trench, Calassa, and the Sunken Quarter. Calassa is the largest and the likeliest of the three in my opinion. Plus there is the possibility of quara raids in Liberty Bay that could stir up these creatures. As seen in the library:
"These dwellers of the deep seem to leave their ancient habitats for unknown reasons and seek new areas to live in. Given the warlike nature of the Crustacea Gigantica it is somewhat unsettling to think what might have driven them away from their old realms. As of today, there are no valid theories about this occurrence, and although the quara are often mentioned as a possible cause, it seems more likely that the real cause is a new threat that lurks in the depths of the ocean."

Midnight Panther:

Somewhere in Tiquanda seems to be the only way to go for these ones. Those claiming to have seen one have all mentioned the Forbidden Lands. The spawn itself may just be rare enough to make them hard to track down even if they truly are in there.

Undead Cavebears:

The library is full of references to necromancers and liches. Ramoa aka Lich Hell seems to be the spot. There are large skeletons in the ground and obvious areas where necromancers, priestesses, and liches alike all seem to be resurrecting beasts. Still, there is no confirmation.

Overall Outlook:
When given the choice between a daily, weekly, or monthly respawn, CM Ogrey said daily is the closest to the truth. This narrows it down to at most about 3 days in between spawns. However, it seems highly unlikely that no one is seeing these three spawns if they are that common in frequented spots like Calassa, Forbidden Lands, Ramoa, etc.

I wonder if it would be a good idea to buy a leather whip, the taming item for the midnight panther, and then roam the djungle. But with my luck it might break.

I'm down in Lich Hell right now hunting. Hopefully I'll at least get the taming item, if not proof that the undead cavebear spawns here.

I'm not actively searching atm. I was training on my little knightress for some days. Was killing a lot of poachers and carniphilias though and no taming item dropped.

Just looted the giant shrimp from a quara pincher in the Sunken Quarter.

Updating what my research uncovers as I search on my first post, so as far as I know that's one of the most common rumors still though that's mostly do to Wiki I'm sure.

Abiston! I based a lot of my midnight panther research on your comments on the official forums. I'm right there with you in this search buddy.

3 months since the update was releaser and no rare mounts were tamed! :O

Don't cry Krin, or I cry too and than the forum will get flooded. I am still mapping sometimes but since my last exploring adventure, in which I met a grim reaper, which wasn't very healthy for me, I'd prefer to wait some time before I explore myself to death again.

If you ever need some exploration advice just let me know. My maps are roughly 90-95% complete as far as the known world, I'd wager.

I still think that this spawns will be introduced in Tibia in the mid of year. ;p
