So ehm, hi!

My name is Tomas Benjamin Eelkema, I'm 17 years old and I live in the Netherlands.

I got a character named Saria Darim, I made it like 5 and a half years ago, I play on Refugia, its level 134 now, but I need like 10k exp to level 135, so my level is pretty much 135. Ehm... What else? Oh right, I'm a Master Sorcerer and I'm leader of a guild named Spirits

That's it I guess o:

12 years does sound a bit long doesn't it? Oh well, I'm still having a blast playing it and making friends all the time. Also, it's fun to watch Tibia evolve from what it once was back in 1999.

I've been around since late 2002/early 2003, I can't imagine what it was like that far back.

yeah ive been here since 2002 aswell and i would have loved to see what it was back then. oh well. though i wonder whats your opinion about changes in tibia, as you have 12 years perspective, you have seen the start of it, and now you see then current situation (hopefully end) of it.

In all honesty, Tibia has grown to become a much more mature and developed game from where it came from. Originally it was all just fun with friends, no real rules apart from the obvious macros that were used (TibiaGG to name an old one) but because Tibia has grown into a game where cheating has become rampant and it became dependant on it. Just like governments nowadays rely on the cigarette industry for their taxes even though it is killing thousands of people a day. Unfortunately the honest players had to succumb to the very annoying changes such as the stamina bar. But Tibia is still a great game, you have all your friends around now and now wars are implemented properly with regular updates, loads of quests to do, team work is now essential if you want to progress in the game. Yes there are still some insane problems that socialising with other countries bring, such as racism, bullying, etc, but that can be expected generally from any MMO.

Tibia is what it is today due to the dishonesty, laziness and racism. The developers know this and they've implemented certain rules, restrictions and developments to give everyone a fighting chance to enjoy the game with their friends.

if anything i woudl say they relaxed thier rules over the years rather thna implement new ones. stamina is a way to control cheaters whole on the other hand they encourage them with cipbot (ew hotkey system) and whne i look at events like cake eating one i woudl say it was much more mature 8 years ago and are much more "just for fun" now. i really dont see war system as a good point, not only because i dont like war, but because after that their have the unjustified kilsl to kill random people for "supplying war" while before they would use that to get frags and left the normal players alone. racism is an issue, and cipsoft encouraged it by removing language resctriction. the "br? no? dead" rule has just became enforced by cipsoft.

Hello! I'm Emilie, I'm 20 years old (soon 21 though!) and I come from Sweden. I've played Tibia since 2002, but made my beloved character Noxava in May 2008. :)

I remember when I was new on Tibia and I was about to buy an item.. I asked the seller how much he wanted and his answer was "offer". I got so scared, because in swedish "offer" is a victim, so I loged out because I thought he'd kill me. Haha!

Now you know a little about me,

Best regards,
Emilie.
The future will be better tomorrow.
